Made in Indiana: Red Gold
If you live in Indiana its hard not to know about Red Gold tomato products. They can be found at both our major grocery stores: Kroger and Marsh. The Simmer Pot Cafe uses them often in our recipes, most notably our Very Easley Pot Roast and our Sweet Barrel Red Sloppy Joes.
Recently, Red Gold became part of the ‘Made in Indiana‘ Program with Purdue’s Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) You can read about them here as a Featured Indiana Manufacturer. You can also ‘Like’ them on Facebook where they post updates and run contests from time to time.
At the Simmer Pot Cafe all our recipes feature Hoosier-made and grown products.
